Meet The BCA Community Founding Group

After a career in Human Resources in Washington DC and Northern Virginia, Pam retired with her husband, now professor emeritus from the Antonin Scalia Law School, to their long time ski haunt in Sun Valley, Idaho. Not content to sit on the sidelines with her newfound spare time, Pam became active in local and statewide education reforms creating parent groups, campaigns, and issues seminars, and partnered with Idaho legislators to successfully craft laws to enhance parental rights. Pam is a co-founder of the Sun Valley Policy Forum, a non-profit and non-partisan organization that originated to educate our citizenry on local, state and national issues, to provide opportunities to discuss public policy, and to encourage dynamic participation in our community. Pam is also a co-sponsor of the Calvin Coolidge Idaho High School Debate event held in the Wood River Valley originating in 2022. After a tour of Treasure Valley Classical Academy in Fruitland, Idaho, she now believes the way forward for our valley's students is through a classical curriculum focused on moral and civic virtue with a focus on the core disciplines of learning. When she's not engaged with this Homeric pursuit (her words), Pam and Bruce enjoy their growing number of grandchildren and take advantage of the wonderful outdoor activities the valley has to offer.

Darcy is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for creating value for her clients and her community. Founder of Peter Beaton Inc, an iconic Nantucket lifestyle brand, Nantucket Wheelers—an innovative wheelchair biking program, and Hydrex Philanthropic—a ministry that provides underserved communities in Africa with proper sanitation and access to clean drinking water in partnership with Compassion International. Darcy is also a licensed real estate agent in Massachusetts, a year-round volunteer with Awana and VBS and serves the Blaine County Republican Central Committee as State Committeewoman and Captain of Precinct 1. Darcy shares with her fellow Community Founding Group members her passion for classical education and understands how the quest for truth, the formation of virtuous citizens, and the ability to self-govern is vital to the success of our local community and our nation. She is extremely dedicated to using her time, talent, and treasure to help bring Blaine Classical Academy to Blaine County.

Brandon Davis is a Partner and Registered Financial Advisor at Pinyon Pine Capital and Pios Capital, where he provides wealth management and investment advisory services to individuals and group retirement plans. Additionally, he is the Co-Founder and CEO of BJB Solutions, a data analytics provider dedicated to serving small and mid-sized businesses. Since moving to the Wood River Valley in 2020, the Davis Family have actively contributed their passion for education and community involvement to the development of Blaine Classical Academy. Through this initiative, they aim to expand educational opportunities and enhance access and quality for all families in the area.He and his wife, Ashley, moved to the Wood River Valley in 2020 to start a family and enjoy the many blessings that Idaho has to offer. He and Ashley are now the parents of a wonderful 2-year-old named Maverick. Brandon's mission as a father is to provide Maverick with an environment to grow into a well-rounded, critically thinking human being. I believe this is best achieved through a western civilization-based education with a strong moral foundation, that teaches the virtues of this nation but leaves the politics outside the classroom. For these reasons my wife and I are seeking an opportunity for our son to attend Blaine Classical Academy and are willing to devote our time and resources to help make that a reality.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Samantha is an Army veteran and seasoned program manager with over 12 years of experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives across the public and private sectors. She currently serves as a Principal Technical Program Manager at WP Engine, a global cloud hosting platform powering 8% of all daily web traffic. She oversees product rollouts including new cloud architectures and advanced security solutions. Previously, Samantha led product launches at Indeed.com and Apple, including contributions to the iPhone. Her work has spanned schedule and cost management, and operational process design. Before entering the tech industry, Samantha was a Captain in the U.S. Army, where she served as a Company Commander, special operations enabler, and network manager both stateside and in Afghanistan. She holds a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. A proud mother of four, Samantha is passionate about bringing high-quality classical education to the families of Wood River Valley.

​Ashley Davis holds a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Sonoma State University and is a Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) as well as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Prior to dedicating her time to full-time parenting, Ashley implemented individualized Behavior Intervention Plans for clients in home and community settings, fostering family-centered relationships and supporting meaningful child development. Together with her husband, Brandon, Ashley is committed to nurturing their growing family and instilling in their children unwavering moral principles, independence, and curiosity. Their mission is to provide all children in the Wood River Valley with an education that not only enriches academic knowledge but also cultivates compassionate, ethical, and critical-thinking individuals.
